How a class unfolds

A shared kitchen, a shared dish.

You cook alongside, not in your own little corner. One pan on the stove, a couple of boards passed between us, and everyone has a hand in the dish that lands on the table. You are a guest first and a cook second.

  1. 01

    Welcome

A quick chat to ease into the space.

  2. 02

    Spices

A look at what we're using and why.

  3. 03

    Cooking

We cook the dish together. I lead the heat, you take turns adding spices, vegetables, and stirring. Everyone has a hand in it.

  4. 04

    Meal

You sit down to eat what you helped make. I serve, tidy a little, and stay back for questions and conversation.
